Marketing Operations Analyst

Redwood Shores, CA

The Marketing Operations Analyst is responsible for the infrastructure that supports Marketing, including tools, process and measurement.  This position plays a critical role in supporting our global demand generation programs and the success of our Sales teams.  You will develop KPIs and dashboards to measure the revenue impact of marketing initiatives and optimize internal processes to maximize the success of campaigns.  We are looking for someone who thinks both analytically and imaginatively and can identify opportunities to enhance our marketing programs and ensure tight alignment with sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Analysis & Planning

  • Provide marketing and sales leadership with revenue marketing analytics and insights for better decision-making
  • Deliver consistent and accurate marketing reporting, including real-time dashboards, campaign effectiveness reports, executive staff reports, and ad-hoc requests
  • Support marketing budgeting and compliance in conjunction with the VP of Marketing

Lead Management

  • Ensure timely and effective lead distribution for Sales follow-up and track lead resolution for closed-loop reporting
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to drive strong conversion rates and campaign attribution

Marketing Automation

  • System administration of marketing automation platform (Marketo) and a power user of Salesforce.com and related tools
  • Provide strong working knowledge of lead capture, lead scoring, and marketing automation best practices
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure Salesforce.com meets the needs of the Marketing organization

Marketing Database

  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the Marketing database, including the cleanliness and completeness of the data
  • Consult on database segmentation, helping product and field marketers to deliver the right message to the right audience.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years in B2B Marketing with experience in lead management, database marketing reporting and analytics
  • Experience with Marketo (or similar marketing automation platform) and Salesforce.com
  • Microsoft Excel power user
  • Hands-on experience with lead management, database marketing, and marketing analytics concepts and techniques
  • Solid understanding of the processes around marketing programs and lead qualification
  • Team player with service-oriented attitude toward external and internal audiences
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Polished written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or advance degree in Marketing, Management, Math or related field
