Eran Westman

President & CEO

Eran is President, CEO and a Board Director at Vidyo. He brings more than 20 years of business leadership experience and a demonstrated track record of developing successful global go-to-market strategies and guiding sales organizations to the next level of growth. Eran expanded Vidyo’s product and services offerings to include Cloud/ Hybrid/ On-Premises delivery, a Video PaaS and WebRTC. He focused Vidyo on markets where “Quality Matters” and the company has been recognized as #1 in embedded interactive video communications, the real-time video communications leader in TeleHealth, and selected as the back bone of major government communication efforts.

In addition to developing the company’s Customer Engagement/ Video Banking strategy, Eran has expanded partnerships in the UCaaS, Field Services and IoT markets. Prior to his appointment to CEO and President at Vidyo, Eran served as Chief Revenue Officer where he lead the company’s sales and support efforts worldwide. Eran also served as EVP of Global Business, President of Asia Pacific and VP of EMEA at Ceragon Networks CRTN(NASDAQ), the largest independent supplier of wireless backhaul systems. He joined Ceragon as one of the first 15 employees when the company was pre-revenue and built a global organization of over 800 people across Latin America, Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. Eran led Ceragon’s global GTM strategy and managed teams that support customers in cloud and telecom service providers, government, healthcare, education, and utilities. He received a Bachelor of Law degree from Bar Ilan University.

Roi Sasson

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO Roi guides the overall technical architecture of Vidyo’s product and services, identifies new technologies and expands the company’s core technology assets. Roi has a proven track record of technology execution and delivery and built the engineering team at Vidyo from the ground up, hand-picking the best talent in the business to create Vidyo’s award winning technology. Roi oversaw the development of the company’s core architecture and managed the development of Vidyo’s product line. Before joining Vidyo, Roi led the development of IP-based network access and soft-switching solutions. Prior to that he participated in the founding of a start-up company where he led the software development for a distributed, multi-service access multiplexer.

Fahim Siddiqui

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING AND OPERATIONS

Fahim is responsible for engineering, support, and operations at Vidyo including strategy, business planning and the development of Vidyo’s product and services. In this capacity Fahim led the initiative to deploy a cloud-based video collaboration platform while fostering developer and partner ecosystems. Fahim has more than 25 years of experience delivering software and related services in high tech industries. Previously with Intralinks, Inc., Fahim served as Chief Product Officer where he led design and delivery of Intralinks’ product platform. Prior to Intralinks, Fahim served as Chief Executive Officer at Sereniti, Managing Partner of K2 Software Group and has held executive and senior management positions with MCI, Time Warner Telecom, ICG Telecom and Sprint. Fahim has a BS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, a MS in Computer Science from The University of Missouri, Kansas City and an Executive MBA from Brown University and IE Business School.

Dr. Alex Eleftheriadis

Chief Scientist & co-founder

Alex drives the technical vision and direction for Vidyo and also represents the company on standardization committees and technical advisory boards. He is an award-winning researcher, with over 26 years of research experience in video compression and communications. Prior to Vidyo he was an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University. Alex has more than 100 publications, holds more than 100 patents (with several being used in the Blu-ray Disc, H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, ATSC, and ARIB standards), and has served as the Editor of MPEG-4 Systems, Co-Editor of H.264 SVC Conformance, and Co-Editor of IETF’s RTP Payload Format for SVC. He is the Vice President and a Member of the Board of IMTC and co-chairs its Scalable and Simulcast Video Activity Group. His awards include a Marie Curie Chair from the European Commission, the ACM Multimedia Open Source Software Award, and the NSF CAREER Award. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.

Sam Waicberg

Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Sam Waicberg serves as Vidyo’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.  He is responsible for the company’s global marketing, go-to-market strategy, strategic growth initiatives, alliances, and ecosystem. Sam has over 20 years of experience in the technology, software and communications industries.  Prior to Vidyo Sam was with GENBAND, initially as Chief Marketing Officer and then as EVP of Business Development and Strategy.  In those roles, Sam successfully launched and implemented GENBAND’s new branding, solutions, and ecosystem initiatives as well as built out a portfolio of strategic relationships and market development initiatives. Sam joined Genband through the acquisition of Iperia where he served as the President & CEO. He also held a variety of senior Sales and Marketing leadership roles with Fluency Voice, Envox Worldwide, Ascendant, Aspect Communications and Oracle.

Nicholas Reid

Senior Vice President of Product Management

Nicholas serves as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Vidyo and brings over 18 years of product, engineering and technical management experience gained at companies spanning the US, UK and Australia. Nicholas and his team are responsible for defining, designing and planning the upcoming feature roadmap for all Vidyo products. He works closely with Vidyo’s Engineering and QA teams to build innovative high-quality video collaboration experiences for customers. Prior to Vidyo, Nicholas joined SevOne Inc., in 2010 to lead field engineering for EMEA from London, becoming the second employee outside the US. In 2012, he became VP of Product Management, building a team of product managers, tech writers and UX designers – helping to grow revenue from $3M to $75M+. Nicholas studied Computer Science at the University of Wollongong, Australia, specializing in IP networking and systems design.

Steve Lehman

General Counsel

Steve is a senior corporate counsel with deep expertise leading teams in business deals of major strategic importance. Before joining Vidyo, Steve served as chief corporate counsel for the global financial information, technology and media business of Thomson Reuters and its predecessor Reuters, where he played a pivotal leadership role in a number of major transformational transactions, including the combination of The Thomson Corporation and Reuters Group PLC in 2007-2008. Prior to joining Reuters, Steve was a corporate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett law firm in New York where his practice included M&A, minority and venture capital investments, joint ventures/strategic alliances, public offerings, credit facilities, and general corporate advice and representation. Previous to that, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable John S. Martin, Jr., US District Court in the Southern District of New York. Steve received his JD from Columbia University School of Law, and his BA from Dartmouth College in computer science.

Tami Lev-Golan

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Tami is responsible for leading the strategy and initiatives for leadership development, recruiting, performance management, compensation, and benefits across all Vidyo offices worldwide. Mrs. Lev-Golan has over 15 years of leadership and development experience, with a diverse background in HR, recruiting, and operations management for fast growing high-tech organizations. Prior to joining Vidyo, she led the Global HR, and operations, at NICE-Actimize, the world’s largest and broadest financial crime, risk and compliance solutions provider. Mrs. Lev-Golan holds a BA in Business & Industrial Psychology from Baruch College and an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.

Kenneth Young

Chief Financial Officer

Kenneth is Vidyo’s Chief Financial Officer. He has a rich financial, business-process planning and administrative-operations management background, including experience in the financial transformation required in migrating an enterprise software business model to Software as a Service (SaaS). His experience includes strong financial management through the lifecycle range — from developing financial plans, programs and funding at private companies, leading a financial organization through the growth phase including several strategic acquisitions, and managing the financial plans and accounting in preparation to enter public markets.

Kenneth was CFO at Medecision, a subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation, which enables entities to increase the quality of care while driving down costs. He is excited about our platform and the energy within the company, but mostly about our market opportunity to transform not only healthcare, but financial services, government and all aspects of how companies and individuals communicate and collaborate. Prior to Medecision Kenneth was with Grant Thornton, an international accounting and management consulting firm. He understands the value of balancing financial controls and processes with the importance of providing quality experiences and interactions that will make doing business with Vidyo seamless for our customers and partners.

Kenneth is a CPA and a graduate of Villanova University with a B.S. in Accounting. He would love to talk about the NCAA “game of the century!”

Bob Smith

Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Bob serves as Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Vidyo and brings over 25 years of experience leading and building successful sales teams and sales strategies that deliver growth and value with recurring revenue models in mobile, enterprise cloud and SaaS organizations. Bob has extensive knowledge on how to identify and grow new channels and revenue streams and address global and vertical market expansion. Prior to Vidyo, Bob served in executive roles at Channelinsight, ISYS, Ping Identity, Aligo and Harmony. He has received various accolades throughout his career including being named a Semi-Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Bob earned a BS in Information Technology at Colorado State.

Avery More

Chairman and co-founder

Avery brings more than thirty years of technology expertise to his leadership role at Vidyo. Avery has founded and guided technology startups, managed publicly traded corporations and led mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings for several companies during the past 30 years. He was Founder and CEO of CompuCom where his strategic direction and vision led the company to become a more than $1Billion publicly-traded company. In addition to Vidyo, he is currently the executive chairman of the boards of AeroScout, WaveBender and Phynomics, and a board member of SolarEdge.

Ofer Shapiro

Vice Chairman and Co-Founder

Ofer Shapiro, Vidyo co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Board, has been an innovative force at the heart of major architectural transformations in the video conferencing industry since 1996. Previously, Ofer served as CEO at Vidyo for ten years. He was integrally involved in the development of the H.323 specification and the first IP based multi-point control unit architecture and gatekeepers, developed the use of H.264 Scalable Video Coding (SVC) for video conferencing, and led the development of a new media relay based architecture- the VidyoRouter. Ofer is a named inventor on more than 50 issued patents and 27 pending patent families. He was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, and received the Wall Street Journal Innovation Award for Disruption in the category of Internet, Networking and Broadband.

Joshua Ruch

Managing Partner, Rho Ventures

Joshua co-founded Rho Ventures in 1981. Prior to 1981, he was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers in New York. He received an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a BSc. in electrical engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion). His current and recent board seats include: GenVec, Diversa, Sionex, Yantra, Enerkem, Inotek and WiNetworks.

Al Schuele

General Partner, Sevin Rosen Funds

Al joined Sevin Rosen Funds in 2000. A high-tech industry veteran of more than 30 years, Al has extensive semiconductor experience, including work in Asia. He now leads the firm’s activities in Austin and focuses on opportunities in the semiconductor, telecommunications, energy-technology and nanotechnology sectors.

Doug Carlisle

Managing Partner, Menlo Ventures

Doug joined Menlo Ventures in 1982. Prior to Menlo Ventures, he worked as a design engineer at ROLM Corporation. At Menlo, Doug focuses primarily on information technology companies. Doug is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.S. in Electrical Engineering), Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.), and Stanford University Law School (J.D.).

Timothy L. Krongard

Partner, QuestMark Partners

Tim joined QuestMark at its founding in 1998 as the Chief Financial Officer. He currently serves on the boards of Enpirion, Overture Networks, RF Code, and Thrift Recycling Management. In the past, he served on the boards of NetBotz (acquired by American Power Conversion), RealLifeHR (acquired by Hewitt Associates), SeniorHealth and Engineous Software (acquired by Dassault Systems).

Ken Sawyer

Managing Director and Founder, Saints

Ken is a managing director and founder of Saints. Saints is a venture capital and private equity firm founded in 2000 and is the largest global direct secondary firm in the world. Ken focuses on the software and internet industries and also serves on the boards of Alliance Consulting, Acsis, Coloredge, KXEN, Laureate Pharmaceuticals and on the non-profit board of the Hope Street Group. He has previously been selected as a member of the Forbes Midas list for several years, where he was recognized as one of the top 100 investors in venture capital globally. Ken received a BS in Engineering at Stanford University and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford.

Michael Patsalos-Fox

CEO, Stroz Friedberg

Michael Patsalos-Fox, CEO of Stroz Friedberg, is based in the firm’s New York headquarters where he is responsible for global operations and growth strategies.  Michael is a former chairman of the Americas for McKinsey where he served as a senior partner on McKinsey’s operating committee for nine years and held a seat on the firm’s board for twelve years. Mr. Patsalos-Fox also sits on the boards of Quid.com, Vidyo, Cloudpay, Channelinsight, NGData, and Cognizant. He began his career with Fujitsu Australia Limited. Mr. Patsalos-Fox holds a B.Sc. in computer science and pure mathematics from Sydney University in Australia and received his MBA with distinction from International Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.
