Alibaba DingTalk, a business unit of the Alibaba Group (NYSE:BABA), the world’s largest online and mobile marketplace, selected Vidyo, Inc., a leader in video communication and collaboration, to bring embedded HD quality, click-to-connect multiparty video conferencing capabilities to DingTalk, Alibaba’s free, cloud-based enterprise unified communication platform. Now generally available, DingTalk with Vidyo enables 100+ endpoints to join a conference in a user-friendly interface with HD content sharing and flexible display layouts.
First unveiled in January 2015 DingTalk is a powerful cloud-based UC platform that simplifies enterprise collaboration and communication for Chinese enterprises and teams. With more than 1.5 million enterprise companies using DingTalk on desktop and mobile today, Alibaba DingTalk needed tremendous scalability to address the platform’s large and growing installed base of Chinese enterprises requesting face-to-face collaboration.
