Embedded video communications pioneer Vidyo today announced its partnership with Computacenter, Europe’s preferred IT provider, furthering their goal of helping organizations throughout Western Europe better connect with one another through outstanding video collaboration technology, wherever they are, from any device and under any conditions. Computacenter will now offer VidyoCloudTM to their customers across the United Kingdom, France and Germany to provide greater efficiency in operational costs, flexibility and agility for IT leaders.
“Partnering with Computacenter was a natural fit for us, as they have a sterling reputation and a thriving business, and we share the same vision in terms of the value of video,” said Bob Smith, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Vidyo. “We are very happy to help Computacenter customers connect closely and consistently, and achieve their overall communications goals.”
Along with many other components of their business, enterprise customers are increasingly moving their communications to the cloud, eliminating inefficient operational overhead. Vidyo recently launched VidyoCloud, a video conferencing as a service (VCaaS) offering and announced its cloud-based API platform for developers, Vidyo.io, opening up exciting new possibilities and access for video-enabled applications.
The strategic partnership will assist Computacenter in their mission to offer a cloud-based, universal visual communications solution to their customers, helping employees take their collaboration to the next level while increasing engagement at a low cost.
"Video conferencing has moved from the boardroom to everyday devices, running on any and all networks. We are excited to advise and support our customers in their journey to the Digital Workplace, with IT designed for people. Vidyo’s technology is right at the forefront of this shift, and is a very powerful addition to the portfolio of Digital Workplace solutions that Computacenter delivers to our customers," added Jamie Allender, Computacenter Head of Workplace & Collaboration, UK.
Headquartered in Hertfordshire, Computacenter is a Vidyo Certified Premier Reseller that recently implemented the communications technology to deliver one of the UK’s largest video banking projects, cutting out expensive upgrades, and creating a stunningly beautiful, and reliable, visual engagement experience for millions of personal banking customers worldwide.

AVDS, a leading provider of the Interactive Intelligence Customer Interaction Center® (CIC) all-in-one customer engagement software suite, and Vidyo, a leader in embedded video communications, have announced an integration between CIC and Vidyo’s Web-based, high-definition video conferencing solution.
The Vidyo/CIC integration allows real-time queuing and connectivity of video interactions between contact center agents and customers.
“Our research shows that companies can immediately improve their customers’ experience using our Vidyo/CIC integration,” said AVDS President Sharon Moon. “For instance, claimants involved in an auto accident can engage with an adjuster via a video interaction to show damages on the spot, thus speeding up the claims process.”
The integration, when used in conjunction with CIC’s recording capabilities, can also enable supervisors and managers to review each video interaction to see if agents are being empathetic, thus further improving the customer experience.
The total video conferencing market is on a high growth trajectory and is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.2 percent from 2015 to 2020 to reach $11.44 billion by 2020 (Growth Opportunities in the Video Conferencing Market, Frost & Sullivan, June 2016).
Vidyo, already a major player in the video conferencing space, has been at the forefront of video-enabled communications in telemedicine, financial services and government. The Vidyo/CIC integration will significantly leverage Vidyo in contact centers that use CIC.
“The impact of face-to-face interaction as part of a contact center is clear and compelling. We have seen a tremendous response to our video collaboration platform and Vidyo is pleased to have been selected by AVDS for this integration into the Interactive Intelligence CIC contact center platform,” said Bob Smith, Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Vidyo.
The Vidyo/CIC solution is ideal for all industries, including insurance, financial services, healthcare and education.

Vidyo, the leading provider of embedded interactive video communications and telehealth, will be introducing its new clinical design services, called VirtualDesign, at ATA 2016 Fall Forum, booth #106 on Sept. 28-30 in New Orleans. Wendy Deibert joins Vidyo as vice president of clinical services, to help facilitate the integration of telehealth programs with the existing operations and workflows of care providers.
Healthcare providers look to drive clinical efficiencies through telehealth programs across the care continuum but often run into challenges. Vidyo has gained extensive experience deploying and integrating telehealth solutions through its partnerships helping more than 120 healthcare systems, representing over 1,800 hospitals in the U.S. alone. This experience has led Vidyo to recognize that the primary challenge is not the technology. Instead, it is the organization’s ability to successfully integrate these programs into their existing clinical operations and workflows.
“Many of our healthcare partners have passionate care givers who know their business inside and out but often find integrating telehealth programs into their operations challenging because ‘they don’t know what they don’t know,’” said Mark Noble, Vidyo vice president of telehealth business development. “Vidyo is looking to close the knowledge gap for care providers to help them shorten the time from concept to clinical practice. VirtualDesign will allow quicker deployment of cost saving telehealth programs that will lead to better patient outcomes via a proven design frame work with expert coaching from people who have built successful programs.”
Vidyo has recruited Deibert, registered nurse and telehealth visionary and expert, to lead the new clinical design services program as the vice president of clinical services. As one of the original architects and leaders of the Mercy Virtual telehealth programs, and later as the managing consultant of the VirtualEngine, she has a rich history of designing and implementing telehealth programs fully integrated with the healthcare systems’ clinical operations.
“I’m thrilled to join an organization that invests in the success of its customers and has the vision to take steps necessary to accelerate the adoption of telehealth,” said Deibert. “Frequently, care providers put a lot of effort and focus on getting the technology in place, but are unsure of how to go about integrating it with clinical operations. Vidyo has developed a framework and tool kit to help telehealth program managers plan and execute an integrated approach. This will help ensure that the program is embraced and supported by the broader organization, leading to more efficient operations and faster adoption.”
Vidyo’s ecosystem of telehealth solutions help power the leading healthcare solution providers in the country. It’s innovative telehealth solutions were recently acknowledged by Frost & Sullivan — naming Vidyo a recipient of its 2016 North American Video Telehealth Enabling Technology Leadership Award for the impact Vidyo’s technology has had on the telemedicine industry. According to the Frost & Sullivan report, “Vidyo is one of the premier video software platforms—with solutions that power innovation in the healthcare space and support three critical attributes of any telehealth solution: access, workflow integration, and scale.”
The addition of Vidyo VirtualDesign makes it easier than ever for care providers to implement Vidyo’s ecosystem of solutions across the continuum of care.
At ATA Fall Forum, Vidyo will also be demonstrating the following telehealth solutions at their interactive booth:
Vidyo Transfer Agent – An embedded video application for patient engagement from a website or portal, customized to the healthcare systems’ needs and specification through Vidyo professional services, that enables white glove triage services for patients connecting face-to-face with a live representative. Through the interaction, the representative is able to collect necessary information and assist the patient by connecting him or her in real-time to the appropriate administrator or clinician for help via a warm transfer.
Specialist Consults – Using desktop computers or mobile devices over wireless Internet, remote specialists can join reliable high quality video consultations with patient and care giver in an ambulatory care setting. The remote specialist is able to share and annotate content, control his or her point of view by remotely controlling the patient’s camera and view the output of electronic otoscopes and exam cameras during physical examination.
“As the number of telehealth visits continue to grow, so does the need for access to high-quality video conferencing to provide remote, face-to-face physician-patient communication,” said Eran Westman, CEO, Vidyo. “With Vidyo’s telehealth solutions, healthcare providers are now able to provide patients with high quality, on-demand care at lower cost. This is an extremely important feature as consumers want to connect whenever and wherever they are.”
Vidyo’s embedded video conferencing platform powers the #1 healthcare app on the App store, has video-enabled the largest EHR systems, and enables access to telemedicine to more than 50 million patients around the world. Vidyo’s platform is used in dozens of telemedicine use cases including primary, specialty and urgent care consults, telestroke, teleICU, diabetes, Parkinson’s diagnosis, remote patient monitoring, bedside patient engagement, autism coaching, pathology board reviews, elder care, and healthcare access in rural communities and many more.
It’s not hard to understand how a face-to-face interaction in the contact center improves the overall customer experience. Vidyo, the leading provider of embedded interactive video communications, will unveil its VidyoWorksTM platform with VidyoEngageTM for Genesys at G-Force 2016, the industry’s marquee customer engagement event, now in its ninth year. The VidyoEngage solution provides customers with options to easily connect with customer service providers via Click-to-Vidyo, Webchat-to-Vidyo or Voice-to-Vidyo, delivering a true omnichannel experience right from the Genesys Customer Experience Platform.
“G-Force provides our joint customers with Genesys with an opportunity to collaborate and learn about the latest trends and technologies to provide the best possible customer experience,” said Eran Westman, CEO of Vidyo. “We repeatedly hear from our customers, in banking and financial services, healthcare and retail, that high quality interactive embedded video communication is now a critical part of the customer journey, increasing customer engagement, satisfaction and loyalty. VidyoEngage provides the Genesys Customer Experience Platform with a personal touch that will provide frictionless video interactions between a customer and an agent. Through video communications, agents can quickly resolve tickets, increase net promoter scores and effectively meet other key performance indicators.”
VidyoEngage seamlessly transitions a voice, chat, and webpage interaction into a true omnichannel experience at no cost to the end customer. Unlike other solutions, VidyoEngage delivers a high quality experience, regardless of available bandwidth. The solution also provides content sharing and the option to initiate a video chat directly on a webpage without downloads or plugins, including multiparty video conferencing.
“Vidyo is a key AppFoundry partner who is leveraging the Genesys Customer Experience Platform in creative ways to video-enable the customer experience and improve the customer journey,” said Merijn te Booij, Chief Marketing Officer of Genesys. “As more customer journeys start on mobile, the web and social media, we are delighted to work with Vidyo to ensure Genesys customers have access to the highest quality video experience for their overall omnichannel experience.”
Vidyo is a platinum sponsor at G-Force 2016 and the co-sponsor with Genesys of Giveback: A Journey of a Lifetime contest, an opportunity for G-Force attendees to make a difference in the world by fulfilling a personal mission to give back to the world and change people’s lives for the better. The winner’s journey will be shared via Vidyo – allowing people “to see what I see” from the winner’s perspective.
G-Force will take place on October 4-6 at Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel. Vidyo’s CEO Eran Westman will present the Giveback Journey of a Lifetime award, on October 6th at 2:15pm. Vidyo will also address the rapidly evolving role and market demand for video customer engagement, in a session titled: “Putting a Face to Your Contact Center,” on October 6th from 11:10 – 11:55 a.m.
