Prerequisites
The following items are required for the setup.
Network information
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Default Gateway
- DNS Server(s)
- Public FQDN — should already be added to DNS
- Server FQDN — does not need to be in DNS but MUST be different than the Public FQDN
- The machine MUST have Internet access when the network is configured or else the setup will fail. This is needed to access the public docker image repositories that are part of the installation.
SMTP information (optional)
- SMTP Server URL
- SMTP Username
- SMTP Password
- SMTP Port
Certificates
- PFX file for certificate that covers the Public FQDN
Firewall
- Inbound TCP Port 443 open from all VidyoPortal VidyoRouters
- Inbound TCP Port 8443 open from where users will view dashboards — it is not recommended to leave this wide open to the public
In the Beta version, the view dashboard port was 443. However in the GA version (21.1.0+) this was changed to 8443.

Access
- SSH access to the deployed OVA for System Console access
- Platform API user configured with appropriate SSH key
