    • If you didn’t enable the ALWAYSONTOP MSI parameter (which was released in version 20.1.2) during installation, you can select this checkbox instead of using the parameter. If you did enable the ALWAYSONTOP MSI parameter during installation, this checkbox will be selected by default.

  • Detection of in-progress Tyto exams
  • When a remote clinician user attempts to start a new Tyto exam, the VidyoConnect application now detects if any Tyto exams are currently in progress. • Fixed an issue where the active speaker’s tile occasionally switched back and forth with a non-speaking participant's tile when two or more remote participants were not muted and were producing low background noise.
  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect VidyoConnect version number was displayed when viewed using Mac OS.

Combined, the TytoCare Professional (TytoPro/TytoClinic) solution and the Vidyo telehealth solution provide a single cohesive workflow for telehealth providers.
  • For more information, refer to the Legacy TytoCare integration topics.

  • macOS® Mojave camera/microphone permissions reminder
  • If you run your VidyoConnect application in macOS Mojave (10.14) and have not granted VidyoConnect permission to use your camera and microphone via the System Preferences on your Mac, you will now be alerted when you join a Vidyo meeting.

VidyoConnect for Desktop Version 18.3.1: General Availability Release

Product Bulletin No. 1227

What's new in this release?

  • Resolved issue
  • In VidyoConnect version 18.2.4, Vidyo discovered and resolved an issue where, in certain scenarios, the VidyoConnect application would prevent the operating system from going into suspend/sleep mode and displaying a screen saver. However, black video tiles then occasionally began to appear during some video calls as a result of the fix.

In version 18.3.1, we have resolved the black tiles issue in addition to the previous screen saver issue. Therefore, the VidyoConnect application should now allow the operating system to go into suspend/sleep mode without causing black tiles to appear during active video calls.
