Version 22.3.0—June 2022

What's new in this release?

  • Support for camera presets on VISCA cameras
  • Camera presets allow you to store specific camera settings on VISCA cameras, such as the camera’s position and PTZ settings, so that you can quickly move the camera to those stored positions.
  • For example, you may want the VISCA camera on a VidyoConnect Room system in a patient's room to point at the bed, the monitor, and the doorway.
  • To configure the presets, use the new Camera Preset panel on the Admin UI Settings tab.
  • You can configure and name up to 16 presets per camera.
  • For more configuration information, refer to the "Configuring the Camera Presets" section of the VidyoConnect Room and VidyoRoom Administrator and Installation Guide.
  • Note: This feature is available only with VidyoPortal and VidyoRouter version 22.3.1 and later and VidyoConnect for Desktop version 22.3.0 and later.
  • FECC support for Minrray UV510 cameras via UVC
  • Far-End Camera Control (FECC) is now supported on Minrray UV510 series cameras that are connected via a UVC (USB video class) port.
  • For information on how to upgrade your Windows 7 hardroom, refer to the Upgrading VidyoRoom Systems to Windows 10 IoT article or contact Vidyo Support for assistance.
  • Installers no longer available for Windows 7-based hardroom systems
  • If you have a hardroom running Windows 7, Enghouse Vidyo is no longer releasing installers for these. To continue using your system, you must upgrade to Windows 10 IoT.
  • For information on how to upgrade your Windows 7 hardroom, refer to the Upgrading VidyoRoom Systems to Windows 10 IoT article or contact Vidyo Support for assistance.
  • If you have a softroom, Enghouse Vidyo will continue to release installers for these. However, if your softroom is running Windows 7, do not use the installer to directly upgrade from Windows 7; doing so may cause your VidyoRoom application to stop running. Instead, first upgrade your OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and then use the installer to upgrade your VidyoConnect Room system to the latest release.
  • Note: To determine whether your Room system is running Windows 7 or Windows 10, check your image version. Windows 7 images start with 0, such as 0.a.b.c; Windows 10 images start with 3, such as 3.d.e.f.
