What's new in this release?

  • Pause functionality now works when recording
  • In version 19.1.2 of the VidyoConnect for desktop application, clicking the Pause button when recording a video call will properly cause the recording to pause. Previously, when you clicked Pause, the recording would incorrectly continue to record.

  • In this release, we've addressed some important issues to improve usability and reliability.

  • For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.

Note that TytoCare integration requires VidyoConnect version 19.1.0 or later as well as VidyoPortal version 18.4.0 or later.

NEP-12071

Vidyo fixed an issue so now when you record and then click "pause" in the VidyoConnect for desktop application using version 19.1.2, the system will display as "paused" and will actually "pause" the recording. Previously, when you clicked pause, the system would not pause and incorrectly continue to record.
