What's new in this release?

  • Shareable applications now display correctly
  • In this release, we fixed an issue where the “What would you like to share?” window (which displays when users click the Share button on the VidyoConnect desktop application) would sometimes appear blank rather than displaying the list of applications available to be shared.
  • German special letters appear properly With Microsoft Outlook calendar integration
  • This release fixes an issue that occurred for some Microsoft Outlook calendar integrations where the German letters ä, ö, ü and ß, and other non-English characters, were not correctly displayed in meeting titles, descriptions, and the participant’s list on the VidyoConnect desktop application. These characters should now render properly.
  • Japanese and German words are now accurately translated
  • The accurate Japanese translation for the word speaking now appears on the Active speaker pop-up on the VidyoConnect desktop application.
  • The accurate German translation for the words cancel and quit now appear on the Cancel and Quit buttons on the VidyoConnect desktop application.
  • Important bug fixes
  • In this release, we've addressed some important issues to improve usability and reliability.
  • System updates
  • For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.

NEP-13291

This release fixes an issue that occurred for some Microsoft Outlook calendar integrations where the German letters ä, ö, ü and ß, and other non-English characters, were not correctly displayed in meeting titles, descriptions, and the participant’s list on the VidyoConnect desktop application. These characters should now render properly.

NEP-13054

In the upper-left corner of the VidyoConnect desktop application, the Active Speaker pop-up now displays the accurate Japanese translation for the word speaking.
