What's new in this release?

  • Dark mode support
  • Dark mode allows you to decrease the brightness of the VidyoConnect application background in low-light environments.=
  • This feature is available on mobile devices with:
  • Android 10 and later
  • iOS or iPadOS 13 and later
  • Activate dark mode (iOS)
  • Tap Settings > Siri & Search
  • Open Control Center, press and hold the screen brightness slider. Tap the Appearance button to switch between light and dark.
  • To set up a toggle, open the Control Center, tap Customize Controls. Then, tap the + next to Dark Mode. Tap and drag on the handles to change the buttons' position.
  • Open Settings, then tap Display & Brightness, and then Tap Dark.
  • Activate dark mode (Android)
  • Open Settings, go to Display, and tap Theme. Tap Dark and the UI will switch to dark mode.
  • Analytics now available for Android and iOS
  • In-app analytics are now available for Android and iOS.
  • Important bug fixes
  • In this release, we've addressed some important issues to improve usability and reliability.
  • System updates
  • For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.

Summary

NEPANDRD-5028

An issue where Android 10 users could not join calls via T-Mobile cellular networks has been fixed in version 19.5.2.

NEPANDRD-4791

Vidyo fixed an issue where only one Android 10 device could be logged in to the same call at the same time because the endpointID was not unique.
