What's new in this release?

  • Localization auto detect
  • This feature automatically detects and delivers the user's language preference. Users can override the default language selection.
  • Auto-provisioning of providers via Epic CAL
  • Using Vidyo’s Epic Context-Aware Linking (CAL) integration, providers can now be automatically provisioned into their Tenant.
  • Providers can now also perform some moderation actions in their Epic CAL conferences, including:
  • Inviting other users via links
  • Inviting other registered users to the conference
  • Inviting other users via SMS
  • Dialing out to SIP or H.323 devices
  • Provisioned providers can be configured to get automatically logged out at the end of their conferences.
  • This feature requires VidyoPortal version 21.2.0 or later.

  • Added "Settings" label below the Settings icon
  • We added the "Settings" label to the Settings icon to make it easy to identify.
  • Far End Camera Control (FECC)
  • With support for the Far End Camera Control (FECC) feature, users of the WebRTC client can now remotely control the far-end camera when the remote participant is using a VidyoConnect client, a VidyoConnect Room, or a VidyoRoom that has a controllable camera.
