Version 23.2.0 (Android and iOS)—October 2023

What's new in this release?

• New OS support
• VidyoConnect for Mobile has been optimized for Android 14 and iOS 17.
• Moderator PIN (cohosting) on mobile
• Room owners will now be able to set moderator PINs on their rooms using our mobile app.
• Users will also be able to input the moderator PIN on mobile devices and become cohosts while they’re in a meeting. This will give them access to all the moderator privileges that are available on the platform at the time.
• At the time of this release, this includes the ability to invite and/or disconnect participants. As we expand our moderation suite these capabilities will automatically become available to cohosts as well.
• Setting a Moderator PIN:
• To set a moderator PIN on one of your rooms, simply select the room.
• Click on Create a Moderator PIN.
  
• Input a 4-16 digit moderator PIN.
  
• Tap Save.
• Modify or remove moderator PIN:
• If your room already has a moderator PIN set, you can modify or remove it.
• To do so, simply select the room and click on the button Change or remove moderator PIN.
  
• In the Rooms pop-up tap Remove to remove moderator PIN from this room.
• Input a new 4-16 digit moderator PIN and tap Save to update the moderator PIN with a new one.
• Using Moderator PIN to become a moderator (cohosting):
• Tap on the participants panel on the in-call toolbar.
  
• In the panel, click on Switch to Moderator.
  
• Input the moderator PIN and press Submit.
  
• You will now have moderator rights.
• Guest users will not be able to cohost meetings.
• Important bug fixes
• In this release, we've addressed some important issues to improve usability and reliability.
• System updates
• For added security and stability, updates for multiple third-party packages and libraries are included as part of this release.
